Bundle Neuro for research: composition

Bundle Neuro is a kit of three individual vials of lyophilized powder: Semax (10 mg), Selank (10 mg) and Pinealon (20 mg). Each component is HPLC-purified, at ≥98% purity, with its own COA for every lot.

Included compounds

Semax (10 mg)

Synthetic heptapeptide derived from the ACTH(4-10) fragment, with the sequence Met-Glu-His-Phe-Pro-Gly-Pro. In neuronal models and rodents it is studied for brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) expression and neuroprotective pathways (CAS 80714-61-0; PubChem CID 9811102).

Selank (10 mg)

Synthetic analog of tuftsin (heptapeptide Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg-Pro-Gly-Pro). In cell cultures and rodents it is investigated for modulation of GABAergic pathways and expression of neuroregulatory genes (CAS 129954-34-3; PubChem CID 11765600).

Pinealon (20 mg)

Glu-Asp-Arg tripeptide, classified as a bioregulator peptide. In neuronal cultures and experimental neuroprotection models it is studied for the cellular response to oxidative stress (CAS 175175-23-2; PubChem CID 10273502).

Research rationale for the set

The set combines two heptapeptides developed in Russia with a bioregulator tripeptide, allowing neurotrophic signaling, GABAergic modulation and neuronal response to oxidative stress to be studied at the bench. The combination is the subject of ongoing research, with no conclusions about effects in humans.

Storage and handling

Store all vials at -20 °C, protected from light and moisture, in the original sealed packaging. As a bench procedure, each lyophilized vial is reconstituted separately with a known volume of a suitable solvent, added along the inner wall and gently swirled, without vigorous shaking. Handling is restricted to qualified personnel in a laboratory setting, with the lot number recorded.
